What’s included in the course?

Red Cross Babysitter Training

This in-person course prepares youth ages 11-16 to safely and confidently care for children and infants. It includes hands-on activities, videos, and discussions to develop essential, real-life readiness babysitting skills. The course covers feeding, diapering, picking up and holding children, safety, and emergency response. Participants receive a 10-year Babysitter’s Training certificate upon completion.

Pediatric First Aid

The First Aid portion of the course includes hands-on skills and information on how to treat common first aid emergencies, Learn how to treat common injuries like medical illness, choking, and bleeding. You’ll receive a Red Cross Pediatric First Aid certification that’s good for 2 years.

Pediatric CPR and AED

The CPR and AED training teaches teens how to respond to cardiac and breathing emergenices. It includes both CPR and AED training and provides a 2-year Red Cross Pediatric CPR and AED certification.
